Privacy
These games are played with your body in front of a camera, or with touch, a mouse or the keyboard. Here is what happens to your camera picture and your data, in plain words.
The short version
- Camera video is processed on this device and is never recorded or sent.
- Scores, settings and anything you choose to enter stay in this browser on this device.
- Anonymous play counts (no names, no video, no IDs) are collected, and you can switch them off.
- No cookies. No ads. No trackers. No outside services.
Your camera
Camera video is processed on this device and is never recorded or sent. No face recognition: only body points are used to play.
The game finds a small set of body points (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and so on) in the live picture, on your device, and plays from where they are. The small picture and stick figure in the corner are drawn from the live frame and replaced by the next one. You can always play without a camera.
What stays in your browser
Scores, settings and anything you choose to enter stay in this browser on this device.
- the top scores on this device, and the settings of the screen you are using
- an entry in the "stay in touch" form, only if you tick the box and press Send. It is saved in this browser for the business to read at this device; it is not sent anywhere
- a Party Pack lives only in the web address; nothing is saved for it
Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
Anonymous play counts
This version of the games counts how often things happen, so the business can see whether people enjoy the game. It adds up totals. It does not follow people.
What is counted
view: a game page or the arcade was openedstart: a round was started, and whether by camera or by touchcomplete: a round was finished, with only a rough score band (low, middle or high) and whether it was a party roundcta: the end-of-round message from the business was shownlead_open: the "stay in touch" form was opened (nothing you type is counted)lead_submit: someone saved an entry in that form (only that it happened: the entry never leaves the device)party_complete: a Party Pack reached its podium, with a rough band of the party scorestudio_download: a business kit was downloaded from the studio, and for which game
What each count holds
Only: the business, the game, what happened, one small category (for example pose or touch, or a score band of low, mid or high) and the day (a date in UTC, never a time of day). Each count adds one to a total, such as "Tuesday: 41 rounds started".
What is never collected
- no name, email or anything you type, and no text of any kind
- no camera picture and no body points; not even your real score, only a band
- no cookie, no stored number, no ID, nothing that tells one visit from another
- no device or browser details, no location, no referring page, and no time of day
- no IP address: the counting code never reads or keeps it
How it is sent
In small batches to this same website when you leave the page or about every half minute. Nothing goes to any other company. If sending fails, the counts are dropped.
Like every website, the company that hosts this one (Cloudflare) handles each request to deliver it. The games and the counting code do not read or store your address, and the database holds only the totals described above.
Turning counts off
Counting is off whenever you ask it to be. Any one of these is enough:
- your browser sends Global Privacy Control (a setting or extension that says "do not sell or share my data")
- your browser sends Do Not Track
- you add
?analytics=offto the address of the game or the arcade
The games do not remember your choice, because they store nothing about you: your browser's signal is read again on every visit. Test and demo modes (replay mode and automated browsers) do not count either.
